Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups plus 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons, plus a dash Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons plus a dash lemon juice
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon beef base (see note)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 2/3 pound blue cheese, crumbled
Preparation
Step 1
Mis together all ingredients except the blue cheese. Gently add in the blue cheese to incorporate without breaking the cheese up. Keep refrigerated. Serve over mixed greens.
Note: The Brigantine uses a commercially prepared beef base similar to the Better than Bouillon base found in the soup aisle of most grocery stores.
