Ingredients
- 1pound1 pound butter
- 2cups2 cups sugar or brown sugar
- 12 ounces package12 ounces package semi-sweet chocolate
- 2cups2 cups crushed Almonds
- 2Tablespoons2 Tablespoons water
- 2Tablespoons2 Tablespoons corn syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Grease a 9x13 inch-baking pan with butter and sugar. Let cook, stirring constantly,for 5/10 minuets until it is brown and almost smoking. Pour the mixture into pan over the nuts.Immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top of the mixture so they will melt and spread the melted chocolate over the mixture. Sprinkle additional groundnuts on top if you wish. Let the candy cool before cutting into bars.
