- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. currants or dark golden raisins
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped nuts
- melted butter

Step 1
• Roll dough into rectagle 6x18 inches. Sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, currants and nuts. Leave 1/2 inch around edges uncovered. With rolling pin, gently press filling into dough. Starting with narrow end, roll up, jelly-roll fashion; seal about every half turn. Seal the end very well.
• Center dough in greased tube. Butter ends of loaf . Cover ends of tube and place on rack. Let dough rise in a warm, draft-free lace until almost doubled. (Time will depend on dough used.)
•Bake at time and temp suggested for bread. Slide from tube onto rack; brush with melted butter.
Note: Do not butter rectangle.
