Ingredients
- 1.5 1.5 1.5 lbs of cubed chicken
- 1 1 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 6 6 6 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 6 6 6 tablespoons of rice vinegar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce
- 4 4 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 2 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon of ginger
- 1 1 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 1 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 1 1 1 chopped green onion
- 2 2 2 cups of cooked white rice
Preparation
Step 1
Pour in chicken cubes and saute with with sesame oil for 1-2 minutes.
In a medium sized bowl, mix together the rice vinegar, soy sauce, minced garlic, pepper flakes, ginger, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar.
Once mixture is well combined, pour over the chicken inside the instant pot.
Turn instant pot to “Manual High Power” for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes do a quick release.
Turn the pot back on to “saute” and bring to boil.
Whisk in the cornstarch to the thicken the mixture. Whisk for about 2 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice and sprinkle with chopped onion and sesame seeds.
