EASY LASAGNA

Ingredients

  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 32 oz spaghetti sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cup ricotta or cottage cheese
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 8 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • ½ lb mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Crumble ground beef in micro-bowl. Heat 2-3 minutes at high, stirring once. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Meanwhile, combine ricotta cheese, egg and pepper. In oblong baking dish spoon ½ cup sauce. Alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, mozzarella cheese and sauce, forming two layers. Heat, covered for 8 minutes on high. Heat covered at medium low for 30-32 minutes or until noodles are tender. Top with parmesan cheese. Let stand, covered, for 15 minutes before serving.
