Ingredients
- 5 5 5 cups of chopped asparagus
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 yellow onion, roughly chopped
- 2 2 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 few sprigs of fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon of dried
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup of almonds (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Place asparagus, onion and garlic in saucepan, add 2 cups of water and cover. Bring to a simmer and let steam 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain excess water, add mixture and remaining ingredients (thyme, salt, olive oil
and blend until smooth. Taste for seasoning.
