Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • flour
  • pepper
  • margarine
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tin consomme
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • cooked egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Dust meat with flour, sprinkle with pepper and brown in large skillet. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic. Stir in consomme and cook 1 hour or until meat is tender. Add water if necessary. Gradually add sour cream and heat for 5 minutes. Serve over cooked noodles.
