Skillet mac & cheeseThis super creamy mac & cheese is so simple it almost seems too easy you will love the rich cheesy flavor and the more toppings you put on it the better it tastes

Ingredients

  • 2 2 8 cups uncooked elbow macaroni about 8 ounces
  • 2 2 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 2 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • One One and a half cups of half-and-half cream
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 pound processed Velveeta cubed
  • Optional toppings cheddar cheese crackers asiago crackers bacon chives and freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain
Meanwhile in a large nonstick skillet melt butter over medium heat stir in flour until smooth gradually whisk and cream bring to a boil stirring occasionally cook and stir until thickened about two minutes reduce heat stir in cheese until melted
add macaroni cook and stir until heated through top as desired
