Classic Mashed Potatoes

  • 6 * 6 cups yukon gold poatoes, peeled and cubed (about 8 medium potatoes)
  • 4 * 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 * 1/2 cup milk, approximately
  • * salt and pepper

1. In a large saucepan, boil the potatoes and garlic in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
2. Using a masher, mash the potatoes and garlic with the butter. Then, using an electric mixer, purée the mixture with the milk. Adjust the seasoning.
