Sandy's Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 cup Crisco
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• pinch of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2- 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp cream of tarter
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/2 stick soft butter
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1/2 and 1/2 to desired consistency

Preparation

Step 1

Cream Crisco, sugar and egg together. Stir in rest of the ingredients. Roll in balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased pan. Flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with frosting.
