Ingredients
- CRUST
- 2 2 2 cups flour
- 1 1 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup softened butter
- 2 2nd 2nd layer
- 1 1 1 cup pecan chopped
- 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1 1 cup chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*
combine first 3 ingredients in a mixing bowl
beat at medium speed with mixer until blended
Pat mixture into a greased 9X13 pan
arrange pecans over crust
Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar
in a sauce pan
bring to a boil over medium heat
stirring constantly
cook 3 minutes stirring constantly
pour mixture over pecans
bake for 15 to 17 minutes
remove from oven
sprinkle with chocolate morsels
let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly melted
Gentle spread chocolate with knife leaving some morsels whole
let cool on wire rack at room temperature until chocolate sets
cut into squares
