Ingredients
- Mousse:
- 2 - 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 c butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c half & half cream
- 1 T vanilla
- ½ t. salt
- 8 large eggs
- 1 c heavy cream
- Glaze:
- 6 oz semi-sweet
- 2 T butter
- 3 T milk
- 2 T light corn syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease springform pan.
Heat first six ingredients of mousse over low heat till smooth (stir frequently). Whisk eggs slightly and add warm choc mixture to eggs. Back for 45 minues or until toothpick inserted 2" in from pan edge is clean. Cool.
Heat glaze ingreds together until smooth (1 often 1 ½x the glaze recipe to make sure there's lots!). Spread and chill.
