Chili with Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 1 chopped onion
  • 1 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 16 oz can 1 16 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 8 oz can 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs 1 tbs chili powder
  • 1 1 bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef onions and peppers until the meat is browned. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Remove bay leave before serving over rise and topped with cheese.
