Air Fryer French Fries
By srumbel
NEW RECIPE) Finally I bought an air fryer and made my first recipe. See my tips below to learn what an air fryer is and the one I bought. I’d received so many requests to give it a try and create some recipes to share with all of you. Fries are my very favorite cheat food so had to give them a whirl. These skinny fries are incredible!!! Instead of deep frying in a ton of oil, the potatoes are tossed in only 2 teaspoons of oil and baked in the air fryer for about 15 minutes. Each serving has 125 calories, 3 grams of fat and 4 Weight Watchers Smart Points. It’s the best side dish for so many dishes and makes a yummy snack too. Even your kids will LOVE these!

Ingredients
- 2 2 1 13-14 3 potatoes or 1 large russet potato (about 13-14 ounces total, 3 cups of fries)
- 2 2 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2- 3/4 1/2- 3/4 to teaspoon seasoning salt such as Lawry’s, to taste
- to little salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Scrub potatoes, pat dry and slice into strips. Keep skin on or remove, if desired. Add cut potatoes to a bowl. Drizzle with 2 teaspoons olive oil. Toss to coat all of the potatoes. Sprinkle with seasoning salt and a little salt. Place potatoes into the air fryer basket.
4. Air fry at 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Be sure to shake the basket half way through cooking to turn fries. Bake time depends on how crispy you like your fries.
5. Serve with ketchup and my skinny ranch on the side, if desired.
5. To reheat leftover fries. Place back in your air fryer for about 5 minutes. Or, place on a cookie sheet and heat in a 400 degree oven for about 5 minutes.
Makes 3 cups total. Each serving, 1 cup.
