Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb spiral sliced ham, cubed
  • 2 T unsalted butter
  • 1 LG onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 sm whole Brie wheel
  • 1 green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 16 oz (2 rolls) refrigerated crescent rolls

Preparation

Step 1

Heat LG sauté pan over med heat & add butter. Carmelize onion until golden brown & very soft, stirring occasionally.

Preheat oven to 375.

Unroll crescent roll dough into triangles. On LG baking sheet, place a sm bowl (about 5 in. in diameter) in the center. Arrange the triangles in a ring around the bowl, overlapping slightly. The points should be facing outward.

Spread the Dijon mustard on the dough close to the ring. Layer the ham, apple, Brie & carmelized onions on top of the Dijon.

Bring the top of the triangle over the filling & tuck the edges under the bottom layer of dough. Repeat around the ring until entire filling is enclosed.

Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Cut into wedges.

Note: Can substitute other meats & cheeses. Can also substitute hot or mild peppers or mushrooms for green apple.
