BLACKBERRY JAM CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 C. butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 3 C. sifted cake flour
  • 1 tea. soda (dissolved in buttermilk)
  • 2 C. buttermilk
  • 2 C. blackberry jam
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tea. allspice
  • 3 tea. ground cloves
  • ●Cream butter and add eggs, one at a time.
  • ●Add flour, allspice, cloves, and buttermilk in which soda has been dissolved.
  • ●Pour into greased and floured tube pans.

●Bake @ 325 F. until done.
