Ingredients
- 1 1 1 cup strawberry jam
- 3-4 3-4 3-4 Grannysmith apples (peeled, cored, small dice)
- 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1 1/2 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 2 2 2 cups rolled oats (toasted)
Preparation
Step 1
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir together the strawberry jam, apples, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until warmed through, about 2-3 minutes.
In a large bowl, add the toasted oats and strawberry mixture and stir until thoroughly combined. Allow to sit until the oats have absorbed some of the moisture and mixture has cooled slightly, about 8-10 minutes. Using a 1-inch ice cream scoop, form mixture into balls, press onto prepared baking sheets. Set aside, allow to cool completely and set and enjoy!
Tip: Substitute the strawberry jam with your jam of choice!
