Poppy Seed Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 3/4 c poppy seeds
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 3/4 c vegetable oil
  • 1 t vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour 2 9X5 inch loaf pans.
Combine flour, sugar, poppy seeds and baking powder.
Beat eggs to blend.
Beat in milk, oil, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and stir til smooth.
Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake until tester inserted comes out clean (50-60 minutes)
