Ingredients

  • 3-3/4 3-3/4 3-3/4 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. Baking soda
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. Cream of tartar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1 1 c. Butter
  • 2 2 2 c. Sugar
  • 2 2 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 c. Milk
  • 1 1 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3 3 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 1 1 tsp. Ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. In mixer bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds. Add 2 cups sugar, beat until fluffy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Add dry ingredients, except 3 tbsps of sugar and the cinnamon. Beat until well blended. Shape into 1-inch balls, roll in mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 375 for about 8 minutes. Makes about 66
