Ingredients

  • 1 1 1 lb round steak
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup of butter
  • 2 2 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1 1 large onion (sliced small pieces)
  • 2-3 2-3 2-3 garlic gloves
  • 2 2 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 2 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 10 1 10 1 10 oz can of beef consume soup or 1 cup beef broth tetra pack
  • 1 1 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 1 1 package of egg noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Remove fat from the round steak and cut into small bite size pieces
Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a frying pan and cook mushrooms, onions and garlic (chopped into small pieces) till tender.
Remove from pan and 5 tbsp of butter to pan, then add meat and brown, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then remove from pan.
Add remaining butter to the pan and sprinkle flour, stirring till flour is mixed in and brown.
Add mustard, beef broth, mushrooms, onions and garlic back into the pan and simmer for 30 minutes. (the longer you simmer the meet the tender it will be)

Bring water to boil in a large pot with a pinch of Salt and add 1/2-1 package of noodles (you can use any kind) cook for about 7 minutes till they are done.
Drain noodles in a colander and put in bowl.

Add sour creme to meat mixture and stir... remove from heat and pour onto noodles and serve.
