Ingredients

5 5 5 granny smith apples
1/2 1/2 1/2 box Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix
1/4 1/4 1/4 c cinnamon/sugar mixture
1/2 1/2 1/2 stick melted butter or margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Peel, core and slice apples. Place apples in lightly buttered deep dish baker. Sprinkle dry cake mix and sugar mixture over apples. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake 350 degrees for 30 mins. Serve warm. May wish to top with ice cream.

Variations: Sprinkle 1/4-1/2 c raisins, nuts and/or oats over the apples, then proceed as directed.
