Ingredients
- 5 loaves rhodes frozen dough
- 1/2 about 1/2 pound sugar
- 1/2 bottle cinnamon
- 1 cup butter
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 2-3 cups powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Prep:
Let dough defrost
Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl
Melt butter in a bowl.
Directions:
Cut up each loaf into 8 pieces. Dip tip of one dough piece into melted butter and spread around to coat. Drop into bowl of cinnamon-sugar and cover entirely. Tie in a knot and place on VERY greased cookie sheet.
Let rise for a few hours until doubled in size (or to speed up process, turn oven to 200*, then turn off and put pan in oven for 1 hour).
Make your frosting: use the remaining melted butter and add powdered sugar and vanilla. You want it thinner than canned frosting, but thicker than glaze.
Preheat oven to 325*, bake for 10-15 minutes, turning pan half way through, just until browned on top.
Immediately take off the pan and put on tin foil. Let cool for 10 minutes, and then cover with frosting.
