Ingredients
- 2 cups meal (Hot Rize)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 2 Tblsp shortening
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 Tblsp warm water
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Dissolve yeast in the water and then fill the cup with buttermilk and add to dry ingredients. Add the melted shortening. Bake 375 degrees for 55 minutes.
