Broccoli Salad

Ingredients

  • 8-10 8-10 8-10 cups Broccoli
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 red onion, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 pound Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup Raisins**
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup sliced Almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 3 3 tblsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • to and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine broccoli with the red onion, bacon, raisins, and almonds in a large bowl.

Dressing: mix the mayonnaise, sugar, sour cream, and vinegar until smooth.

Stir into the Broccoli mixture.

Chill for about 3 hours. It may not seem like enough dressing but after it marinates it is plenty.

Season with salt and pepper.

**can substitute halved grapes for the raisins.
