Ingredients

  • 2 2# 2# ground ham
  • 2 2# 2# ground pork
  • 1 1 1 T prepared mustard
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 C milk
  • 2 2 2 eggs
  • 2 2 2 C bread crumbs
  • 2 2 2 T cornstarch
  • 1 1 1 T prepared mustard
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 C cider vinegar
  • 1 1 1 C water
  • 10 10 jar 10 oz jar currant jelly
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 C currant raisins

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix ground ham, ground pork, 1 T prepared mustard, milk, eggs and bread crumbs. Form into Loaf and bake at 350 deg for 1 hour ( 1 1/2 hours total).

2. Meanwhile combine cornstarch, mustard, and sugar in saucepan; stir in vinegar, water, and jelly. Cook til thick, add raisins and keep warm.

3. At the end of hour of baking, spoon 1/3 of sauce over loaf, bake 30 minutes more.

4. Loaf rests 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce.
