Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 3 3 1/4 lbs carrots, peeled, sliced on the bias 1/4 inch thick
  • 1 1 1 Tbs sugar
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup orange marmalade
  • 2 2 2 Tbs unsalted butter, softened

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine carrots, 3/4 cup water, sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt in slow cooker. Cover snd cook until carrots are tender, 5 to 6 hours on low or 3 to 4 hours on high.

Drain carrots and return to now-empty slow cooker. Stir in marmalade and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
