Carrots - Brown Sugar Glazed

Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced on a diagonal
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or pumpkin pie spice)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large deep skillet, bring 1" of water to a boil.

2. Add carrots and boil for 3 minutes. Drain.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter, brown sugar and apple pie spice over medium heat. Cook, stirring until bubbly.

4. Add carrots and cook 2 more minutes.
