Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 cups sugar
  • 4 4 4 eggs
  • 1 1 1 cup oil
  • 1 1 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 3 3 cups flour
  • 3 3 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 4-5 4-5 4-5 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Grease & flour 10 inch tube pan.

Mix sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla until well blended.

Combine flower, baking powder, and salt in a separate bow. Sift twice.

Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture, alternating with adding orange juice.

Combine sugar and cinnamon, set aside.

Preheat oven to 350.

Pour 1/3 batter into the pan. top with 1/2 apples and sprinkle with 1/2 sugar mixture. Add another 1/3 of batter and top with remaining filling/topping. Top with remaining batter. Bake for 1 hour.
