Turkey Chili with Corn Chips

Ingredients

  • 8 oz lean ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 minced clove garlic
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 can (10 ounce) diced tomatoes with green Chile's, with juice
  • 1/4 cup rinsed, drained canned pinto beans
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup corn chips
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium skillet combine turkey and chili powder. Heat over medium-high heat until sizzling. Add garlic, onion, garlic powder and cumin. Stir to combine. Cook turkey mixture breaking the turkey up with a spoon, for 6-9 minutes or until no linger pink.

Reduce heat to medium, add diced tomatoes and pinto beans. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until simmering.

Divide between 2 bowls. Top evenly with cheese, chips and sour cream.
