Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup cake flur, sifted
  • 1/2 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 6 T unsweetened applesauce
  • 6 T vagetable oil
  • 1 1/2 t vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Pre heat oven to 350

Spray an 8 inch baking pan with Pam and set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa and salt, mix well.

In a large bowl, whisk together egg whites, egg, sugar, applesauce, oil and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until just blended; do not overmix. Pour batter into pan.

Bake until just set and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean about 25 minutes

Place on a wire rack and cool for at least 15 minutes.
