Ingredients
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced thin
- 1/4 c flour
- 2 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 4 medium whole chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 c heavy cream
- 1/3 c white port wine
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Coat chicken and brown in butter. Stir in cream, port wine and mushrooms. Heat to boiling. Reduce to low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is tender.
