Ingredients
- 1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter
- 1 c sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 scant T water
- 5 or 6 regular size Hershey bars
- chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Melt ingredients (minus chocolate and nuts) on medium high heat in heavy sauce pan until bubbly and turns carmel colored. Keep stirring. Pour into 2 well buttered plates. Let cool a little, lay Hershey bars side by side on top. Let them melt until you can spread to even out the top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Press in nuts a bit so they don’t fall off. Let chocolate harden in a cool place. Break into pieces.
