Ingredients
- Salad:
- 1 package fresh spinach
- 1/2 head lettuce
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 red onion
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- 1 package fresh mushrooms
- Dressing:
- 2/3 cups sugar
- tarragon vinegar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- salt & pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 package dry Italian dressing
Preparation
Step 1
Salad:
Wash and tear spinach & lettuce. Fry bacon until very crisp; crumble. Slice red onion, mushrooms & eggs.
Dressing:
in a shaker (with measurements), put in sugar, then add vinegar to 1 cup mark. Add rest of ingredients. Shake. Refrigerate overnight.
