Orecchiette with Leeks and Peas

Ingredients

  • pasta
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 4 leeks, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 10 oz pkg frozen peas, thawed
  • 3/4 c light cream
  • 3/4 c pecorino
  • 2 t lemon zest

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to directions. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add leeks and cook until soft. Add garlic and peas and cook for 2 min. Stir in cream and cheese. Simmer about 4 min. Add pasta and lemon zest and toss.
