Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- salt, white pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in saucepan and stir in flour. Cook, stirring, until smooth paste is formed. Do not let brown. Add milk all at once, stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt and white pepper. Add cheese and cook, stirring, until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
