Fish for a sandwich for fish and chips

Ingredients

• 1 cup all- purpose flour
• 1 cup corn starch
• Salt and pepper
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 1/2 cups of beer

Preparation

Step 1

Wish flour, cornstarch,1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and baking powder together in large bowl. Add beer and wish until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

When ready transfer fish to batter and coat evenly. Cook in oil at 375 degrees, 4 minutes per side. Do not crowd fish in oil and always return oil to 375 before you begin cooking the rest of the fish.
