Toasted Spice Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbl coriander seeds
  • 1 Tbl fennel seeds
  • 1 Tbl caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 4 oz softened unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Toast spices in small skillet over medium heat, shaking pan, until fragrant, 2-3 minutes.

Mash remaining ingredients together, then roll in parchment. Freeze until firm.

Uses:
Grate over hot rice, pumpernickel toast.
