Chocolate fudge frosting

Discovered this recipe in 2017 and used it many times. Always creamy!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) salted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 3 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Add softened butter cocoa, 3 cups icing sugar, vanilla and boiling water to a mixing bowl, beat until smooth and creamy, adding more icing sugar if needed. Frosts a 9x13 pan.
