Ingredients

  • 1 large potato
  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cabbage leaves or 5 spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 2 tsp. garam masala
  • 2 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 cup chick pea flour
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Oil for deep frying

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potato until just tender, peel and chop finely.

Finely chop cauliflower & onion, shred cabbage or spinach.

Make a creamy batter of the remaining ingredients with cold water. Add vegies and mix evenly.

Heat the oil. Drop Tbsp. of mix into the oil, about 8 at a time. Fry until golden brown.

Serve hot with mango chutney or tamarind sauce.
