Instant Pot Tootsie Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine milk chocolate chips, honey, and heavy cream in a (6-quart) Instant Pot. Stir to coat all ingredients. Put the lid on, and turn setting to Slow Cook on High 1 hour.

Remove lid, and stir well. Add white chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir to combine. Turn Instant Pot off; allow the device to cool down for 3-5 minutes

Turn Instant Pot to Sauté setting on Low. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches a smooth consistency, 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 4

Pour mixture into an 8- x 8-inch or 8- x 6-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper. Allow to cool 1 hour.
Step 5

Once mixture is cool but still warm, remove from dish using parchment paper as handles. Cut into 1- x 1/2-inch pieces. Roll pieces into logs, and wrap individually with squares of wax paper.
