This is a simple, but hearty dish that you can make in a snap. Most of the ingredients are pre-cooked which make putting this together very simple and quick.

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta per it's directions and drain.

Preheat Oven to 400°F.

Spray an 8x8-inch casserole dish with cooking spray (or 9x13-inch if you're doubling)

Layer in about half the pasta, sprinkle half the seasoning on the noodles. Cover with about half the pasta sauce and then top with all of the meatballs. Finally sprinkle a little less than half the Cheddar. Now repeat; Use the last of the noodles, seasoning, sauce and cheddar in that order. Finally sprinkle the parmesan on top.

Cover with aluminum foil (spray 1 side with non-stick and put that on the inside) and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. When the sauce is bubbly, it's ready.

Remove the foil, set the oven to broil and put back in for 2 to 5 minutes. The peaks of the pasta and Parmesan will brown.

NOTE: This usually feeds my family of 4 with a lunch or two left over, but you can double it and it still fits in a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
