Ingredients
- 2 Tbs veg oil
- 3 Tbs soy sauce
- 2 Tbs plus 2 tsp wine vinegar
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 lb firm tofu, sliced 1/2 inch thick.
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients, except tofu. Mix well. Add tofu and marinate, covered, in the refrigerator at least 4 hours. Turn several times while marinating.
Preheat broiler.
Broil , turning several times, until desired crispmess is reached - or grill on a grill.
Warm leftover marinade and serve with tofu.
