Red Velvet Heart Cake (Valentine)

Easy and inexpensive way to show your love on Valentine's Day. Paper hearts are arranged on the baked and cooled cake, then confectioners sugar is sifted over the top, then the paper hearts are removed to reveal this impressive cake.

  • Red velvet cake baked in a heart-shaped cake pan, cooled
  • Paper hearts of varying sizes
  • Confectioners sugar

Step 1

After baking and cooling the cake, invert it onto a serving plate, bottom side up.

Arrange the paper hearts over top of cake as desired.

Sift powdered sugar over the top of the cake and paper hearts.

Carefully, remove the paper hearts. (I used long tweezers.)
