Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 8 Tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 18 large marshmallows, cut in half
  • 36 peanut butter chocolate candy bars, unwrapped

Preparation

Step 1


Mix together the cake mix, butter, egg, cream cheese, and peanut butter until a sticky dough from. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Scoop out 36 even dough balls. Roll them into a a ball and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and change the heat setting to broil.

Press half a marshmallow onto the top of each cookie. Put the pan back in the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes. Remove the pan as soon as the marshmallow starts to turn brown.

Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes on the pan, then gently transfer them to a piece of parchment paper on the counter. Press a candy bar on top of each toasted marshmallow. Let the cookies cool completely before storing in a loosely sealed container.
