Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 medium yellow or sweet onions halved and thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 pound cream cheese, softened to room temp
- 1 tsp flat leaf parsley
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
in a large skillet melt butter. add onions and cook over med heat stirring occasionally about 25 to 30 minutes until golden in color.
drain onions and allow to cool about 15 minutes
transfer onions to cutting board and chop
in large bowl, mix remaining ingredients adding chopped onions seasoning with salt and pepper
serve with your favorite bread or potato chips
