Ingredients
- Filling:
- 1 package butter recipe cake mix
- 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons reserved cake mix
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
Combine filling ingredients and set aside.
In large bowl, blend cake mix, sour cream, oil, 1/4 cup sugar, water and eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of the batter in pan. Sprinkle filling ingredients over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter evenly over filling mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes, until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool right side up for about 25 minutes, then remove from pan.
Glaze: Blend 1 cup confections' sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. Drizzle over cake.
