Buttered Green Beans with Almonds
- 1 1/2 lbs green beans (or 1 pound frozen)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup slivered almonds
Cook beans until tender. Melt butter and add salt and almonds. Saute until almonds are lightly browned. Drain beans and place in bowl. Pour buttered almonds over and mix well.
Place frozen beans, butter, salt and almonds in microwave safe dish. Cover and cook on high for 4 minutes. Stir and cook an additional 3-4 minutes until beans are crisp tender.
