Hot Cranberry-Spiced Punch

Ingredients

  • Garnish:
  • 1 quart low-calorie cranberry juice
  • 2/3 cup pineapple juice (no sugar added)
  • 3 -inch cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon whole allspice
  • Dash ground nutmeg
  • 4 lemon slices (1/4 inch-thick slices), each studded with 3 whole cloves, and four 3-inch cinnamon sticks

Preparation

Step 1

In 1-½ -quart saucepan combine all ingredients except garnish and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes. Pour through a fine strainer or sieve into 4 mugs; garnish each with a lemon slice and cinnamon stick.
