Chocolate Pudding Cake

This is a perfect chocolaty pudding cake. Serve it warm topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream for a treat everyone can enjoy!
Ingredients
- PUDDING CAKE:::::::
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- if at altitude above 3500 feet you may need to add 2 tablespoons of flour otherwise cake will be to soupy.
- TOPPING:::::::
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- Mint chocolate chip ice cream, for serving

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
For the cake: Whisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Next whisk in the milk, butter and vanilla. Stir together until smooth.
Pour the batter into an ungreased 9 X 9-inch square baking pan. Smooth batter out evenly pushing batter into the corners (use table knife or spoon).
For the Topping: Whisk together the sugars and cocoa and sprinkle it evenly over the batter. Pour the hot water over the top of the cake.
Bake 30 minutes, to let the cake almost set. Take out of the oven and let stand 15 minutes.
Serve with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Spoon sauce from bottom of ban over top.
