Green Beans with Hot Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 Tbs bacon grease
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbs Splenda
  • salt & pepper
  • parsley, chopped
  • Servings: 4

Preparation

Step 1

1. Boil or steam the green beans. Drain and set aside. Dice the bacon and fry till crisp. Drain. Add bacon grease in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add vinegar, Splenda salt and pepper and bring to a simmer. Add bacon to sauce and pour over green beans while still hot. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
